About Kitchen Heat

It’s funny how quickly the world changes. Seems like yesterday that we would get our news from a paper, our weather from the radio and if you wanted to see pictures of your friends vacation – you actually had to GO to their house.

Well, that was then and this is now. We live in a world of Tweets, Facebooks, Youtubes and blogs. Information is readily available from countless sources and it seems almost overwhelming to appreciate the amount of information out there.

And so, late one night in my office, came the concept for Kitchen Heat – a blog dedicated to the dedicated foodservice workers in the healthcare industry.

The vision is to create a platform for your voice to be heard, your concerns to be raised, and more importantly, your chance to participate in a community of like-minded individuals from across North America. Over the past 30 years, our team has acquired many ideas, tips and best practices which can help you operate with confidence.

This is a safe place, where you will not be inundated with advertisements, slick  marketing or endless discussions about products, this is simply a website dedicated to bringing the healthcare foodservice community together, for the benefit of all of us.  Hopefully you can see our vision as well and we wish to ensure that everyone is heard – so, we welcome any and all reader contributions. Whether it be an article, a question or even a simple comment – it is our goal to ensure that every voice is heard.
